Marari Beach

The best beach to chill you down is just a 5 minutes’ walk away. Just stroll down to the beach and find a sunbed to get you tanned when you watch the waves along with crabs playing around. Don’t forget to keep an eye on the shore where Dolphins jump occasionally. The water is warm and mostly safe to swim unless you see a red flag on the shore.

Biking

Free bikes available for biking around our green village which gives you immense pleasure when the cool breeze hits you with green views surrounded in tropical weather. The best way to explore our beautiful village is biking around through quite lanes where you meet less traffic according to our route map provided

Ayurveda

Some real Kerala experiences like relaxing massages and all kind of real authentic treatments from a traditional Ayurveda family who started their services 500 years ago in our village. Free consultation available for two weeks detoxification package. Makes you young and healthy

Cooking sessions

Enjoy your best time in our kitchen watching how Kerala spices are blended into delicious curries. Pop into our kitchen just before the dinner time for free for learning to prepare some Kerala cuisines back home.

Alleppey visit

Alleppey town situated on the banks of backwaters, is just a half an hour drive from our place in a tuk tuk for 500 rupees or a local bus ride for 15 rupees with the local people. The life in Alleppey revolves around water where beautiful temples along the streets and on the beach, The light house near the ruined pier which gives you a unique experience to look in to. Don’t miss out on a bargain on the local market and the hustle & bustle of Mullackal street in Alleppey.

Fancy bird watching

Kerala, a biodiversity hotspot in southern India, hosts 567 bird species within its boundaries, with more than 350 breeding species and several endangered birds unique to the region. An early morning bike ride or stroll allows you to engage in this special activity which cools your eyes with wide verities of birds. Mararikulam village offers you very quiet surroundings for the bird lovers.

Fishermen visit

Marari Beach offers an authentic glimpse into Kerala’s coastal heritage, where the local community relies heavily on traditional fishing. Every morning and late afternoon, you can watch fishermen push their traditional boats and small crafts into the Arabian sea. Early hours from 7:30 is worth stepping out to enjoy this activity with the sunrising on top.

Local market and Temple visit

Our local market and Shiva temple is just a 15-minute stroll or a 5-minute bike ride. The ancient Mararikulam Sree Mahadeva Temple is renowned as the only shrine in Kerala where Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati sit face-to-face. Don’t miss out to explore the local market surrounding the temple.
